It’s staged, elicits emotion, and has provoked conversation for decades after its creation both about how it was taken and what it means.

Hola!

I am your conceptual portrait photographer with over 3 decades of experience.
Beginning in Fine Arts and Photography in college with self developing film, then moving into digital and Street photography, my purpose has always been to connect with the heart of others and share their stories.
Street photography is my first love and allowed me to connect quickly, often within a moment, and capture the emotive shared.

My point of difference is with my fine arts perspective I derive your portrait from conceptual art.
Both photography and fine arts hold that the idea or concept is paramount in the creation process. The ideas that I explore are wide ranging and are typically achieved by staging a photograph in a way that represents the story you desire to communicate.
